If you can't grow 'em, judge 'em
The Women of TalkPoint are opening a new annonymous comentary blog to discuss the progress of the Macho at TalkPoint. We'll keep a close eye on the beards, and keep you updated on who's bringing top dollar, who's growing sexy patches of scruff, and who's best in beard. Check back for daily updates!

Dear ladies of TalkPoint,
You may not know me, but I'm the stealthy contestant that you don't get to see every day. I hear the murmurs to Matt and Mike, "Who is this dark horse?", and more importantly, "How manly a beard is he capable of growing?" All excellent questions.
Born in the wilderness of northern New Jersey, the offspring of a bear and yak, I've managed to develop my beard growing skills most recently as a software development consultant for TalkPoint, hence the allowance of my participation in this contest. My beard has been known to cure various common ailments and has even been ceremoniously used by some Native American tribes when peyote was unavailable to them.
I look forward to meeting you on 12/20. All I ask is you judge me not on the person you don't know, but on the beard I grow.
Victory (and that Chuck Norris T-Shirt) shall be mine.
I don't know who Zach is, but yaks are hot, and I can't wait to pass judgement on this one.
I think Jared is doing quite well. He is definitely in the top 4 list. Somebody better make room. Go BFF!
Although some of the patchier efforts are quite disturbing (I do mean disturbing), I'm surprised and impressed at some of the follow-up photos (namely Tony, Travis, Mike V, Matt C) which are shocking improvements on the first! The gods of testosterone are seemingly on your side gentlemen! Looking good!
Being an unforgiving beard lover, I equate the importance of a man by the fullness of his beard. So for those lagging behind, may I suggest getting up close and personal with Mr. Duane Reade. Cos Mrs. Duane Reade certainly aint interested..
